Get quiet, consider different areas of your life and ask this question - the answers often jump out. Deep inside we know – but for some reason we turn the other way. Has the time come to face it?
The Friday Question
A quiet moment at the end of your week.
Each Friday, I send a single question – something to sit with, scribble about, or drop into conversation. Questions that lift you above the noise, tune you into the life you’re living, and the one you want.
No spam, no spin – just one honest prompt to consider – you, your life, your choices.
What are you not admitting to yourself?

What do you want?
A seemingly simple question, but not when you get into it. Use this question repeatedly. First, get all the obvious stuff out of the way: house, happiness, unicorns in the paddock, but then keep asking… move past the media-induced yearnings and into what would make your soul sing. Don’t worry if it’s possible or not, keep asking and getting to know yourself better and better.

What kind of leader were you born to be?
Life’s easier when we are doing what puts us in our element. Our element is the point at which our natural talents and passions cross. What kind of leader were you born to be? A complex problem solver, a people leader, a subject matter expert, a network builder, a project leader? Leaders come in all shapes and sizes – what kind are you?

Who are you?
I’m not going to lie; this is a tough question. I’m pushing you to go past the list of roles and labels - your age, name, job, relationships, etc and suggesting you go deeper. Who are you at your core? What’s the essence of you, your zone of genius, your energy print? It matters – because if we want to lead an aligned life, we need to know what we are aligning to. At my core, I am a teacher, a catalyst, a learner, a seer, an evangelist. Who are you?
